DM Permission Requirement
Sending DMs (Instagram Messenger & Facebook Messenger) requires the recipient to have previously messaged your account, or your app must have approved messaging permissions from Meta. Comment replies work without this restriction.

Instagram → subscribe to comments
Facebook Pages → subscribe to feed

📋 Quick Setup Checklist

① Convert Instagram to Business/Creator and link to a Facebook Page.

② Create a Facebook Developer App at developers.facebook.com, add Instagram Graph API product.

③ Add permissions: instagram_manage_comments, instagram_manage_messages, pages_manage_engagement, pages_messaging.

④ Generate a Long-Lived User Access Token, paste it in Instagram settings above, then click Auto-Fetch to get the Page Token.

⑤ Configure Webhooks: subscribe to comments (Instagram) and feed (Facebook Page), both pointing to the URL above.

⑥ Create campaigns below — choose Instagram or Facebook per campaign.
